The Broadcast Industry Challenge
Selling Production Tech to People Who Build It
Broadcast events are where engineers and creative leadership evaluate cameras, switchers, IP infrastructure, cloud production, and the streaming platforms that distribute the content. Your booth has to demo the workflow at broadcast quality.
Why Visual Impact Matters at Broadcast Events
NAB Show in Las Vegas is the largest broadcast and content technology event in the Western Hemisphere, drawing 60,000+ attendees and 1,200+ exhibitors. IBC Amsterdam is the European pillar with 45,000+ attendees. MIPCOM Cannes is the global content distribution market. NAB Show New York focuses on post-production and content creation. Broadcast buyers are technical, opinionated, and judging your demo against their existing tech stack.
LED video wall exhibits are the broadcast booth’s primary product. Live IP-driven feeds, calibrated cinematography, color-managed HDR, and demo studio environments need walls that meet the standards your audience builds professionally.
Whether you’re a camera and lens manufacturer, a switcher and IP infrastructure vendor, a cloud production or virtual production platform, a streaming or OTT distributor, or a content licensor at MIPCOM, the right exhibit positions you as a serious technology partner.
We’ve supported broadcast clients at NAB Show, IBC, MIPCOM, and major content markets. We understand demo studio integration, color-managed displays, IP signal flow, and the content security requirements major studios expect.

Planning Your Exhibit
Key Considerations for Broadcasting Trade Shows
Broadcasting events come with unique requirements. Here’s what to keep in mind when planning your exhibit.
Color-Managed LED Walls
Broadcast audiences will judge your wall against reference monitors. Specify pixel pitch, color depth, calibration target, and brightness controls during design—not on-site.
Demo Studio Integration
Live cameras, switchers, and IP routers need rack space, dedicated cooling, and signal-flow diagrams visible to the audience. Plan a control room behind every demo studio.
Virtual Production Volumes
LED volume demos require massive power, dedicated content servers, and camera tracking. Coordinate engineering 6+ months ahead of NAB or IBC.
Content Security & DRM
Pre-release content shown in demos needs DRM, signed NDAs, and sometimes badge-controlled viewing rooms. Build content security into the booth flow.
Network & IP Connectivity
ST 2110 and IP demos need dedicated 10/25/100GbE drops. Show Wi-Fi cannot carry live broadcast IP. Coordinate with the show network services well in advance.
MIPCOM Suite Realities
MIPCOM is a market driven by hotel suites, yacht meetings, and Palais bilaterals. The exhibit is part of a larger licensing footprint—plan accordingly.
