Double Deck Trade Show Booths in Montreal
A double deck booth, also called a two-storey trade show booth, multi-level exhibit or kiosque à deux étages, adds a second floor above your island space. Keep the ground floor open for demos, sampling and traffic, and move meetings, hospitality and storage upstairs. You get up to twice the usable space without renting more floor.
Müller Expo is a Canadian company, and we build double decks at the Palais des congrès de Montréal with a team that knows the building, its 22 to 30 ft ceilings and its rules. For Quebec audiences, we produce bilingual French and English graphics as part of every build. See our Montreal trade show displays page, or choose one of two ways to get started.

At the Palais des congrès de Montréal, documentation for every multistorey structure must be signed and sealed by a structural engineer in good standing with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ). Booth materials must meet Canadian fire standards such as CAN/ULC-S102 and CAN/ULC-S109, and any ceiling or roof over 300 sq ft needs an NFPA 13 sprinkler system. Montreal’s fire department (SIM) and Quebec’s workplace health and safety rules also apply on site.
That’s why it pays to work with a supplier that has real double deck experience in Montreal. An engineer stamp from outside Quebec, or a fabric without the right Canadian certification, can keep your upper deck closed on opening day. Every booth we build follows accessibility requirements and Quebec building and fire codes, and we handle every submittal for you.
How Much Does a Double Deck Booth Cost in Montreal?
Montreal double deck booths start around $49,750 for a 20×20, roughly $124 to $240 per square foot depending on the build.
*Pricing starts at about $124 per sq ft and goes up to $240 per sq ft of booth footprint. Larger and custom sizes follow the same range. Final pricing varies based on design, engineering, graphics, AV, furniture, installation, venue requirements and show services.

Montreal double deck booths start around $49,750 for a 20×20, roughly $124 to $240 per square foot of booth footprint. A 30×40 typically runs $149,250 to $288,000 depending on design, engineering, graphics, AV, furniture, installation and show services.
Yes. Multistorey booths are permitted when the documentation is signed and sealed by a structural engineer who is a member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ). We prepare the full package and provide it to the Palais and show management.
No. The Palais requires multistorey structures to be sealed by an engineer in good standing with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec. Our Montreal double decks are engineered and sealed to that standard.
Booth materials must be non-combustible or fire-resistant, with fabrics meeting CAN/ULC-S109 and treated wood meeting CAN/ULC-S102. Any ceiling or roof covering more than 300 sq ft needs an NFPA 13 sprinkler system. Montreal’s fire department (SIM) rules also apply.
Many Montreal shows draw a largely French-speaking audience, and Quebec has its own rules on French in commercial signage. We design bilingual French and English graphics for every Montreal build and confirm any show-specific language requirements with you.
Quebec engineering seals, Canadian fire certifications and provincial safety rules are different from U.S. shows. A missing seal or uncertified material can keep your upper deck closed on opening day. As a Canadian company, our team knows the process and handles every step.
Yes. Every booth we build follows accessibility requirements and Quebec building and fire codes, including code-compliant stairs and guardrails. Where accessible upper-deck access is required, we plan for it or provide equivalent ground-floor meeting space.
Plan on four to six months before your show. Engineering, certification and fabrication take time, so earlier is better, especially for January’s Montreal International Auto Show and spring trade shows.
Both. Browse our gallery of past double deck booths and pick one to customize with your branding, or reach out and our designers will create a fully custom two-storey exhibit for your space.
Yes. Along with Montreal and Quebec City, we build double deck booths in Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary and Vancouver, and in U.S. cities including New York, Boston, Washington DC, Houston, Dallas and Las Vegas.
