SC25 Supercomputing Conference 2025 in St. Louis – How to Prepare

About SC25: The International Conference for High Performance Computing

SC25 (Supercomputing 25), officially the International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage, and Analysis, will run November 16–21, 2025 in St. Louis, Missouri. Hosted by ACM and the IEEE Computer Society, SC is the premier global gathering for HPC professionals, researchers, educators, system operators, developers, and quantum computing pioneers .

Previous editions attracted over 11,000–14,000 participants with hundreds of exhibitors; SC25 will similarly feature keynotes, technical presentations, birds-of-a-feather sessions, tutorials, workshops, and the Exhibitor Forum in addition to the signature exhibit hall and SCinet network demonstrations. Student‑centered programming—including Students@SC, cluster competitions, career development, and volunteer experiences—also runs throughout.

Venue & Location: America’s Center Convention Complex, St. Louis

SC25 is hosted at America’s Center, the expansive convention complex in downtown St. Louis. It’s conveniently located near hotels, restaurants, shopping, public transit (MetroLink), and attractions like the Gateway Arch National Park, Forest Park, and cultural institutions.

The event will occupy America’s Center proper as well as the historic Dome—the repurposed stadium structure now used for large-scale events, networking zones, the job fair, and exhibitor suites. The Dome’s vast concourse and open layout mirror the scale and innovation that define SC25.

Venue amenities & logistics:

  • ~15 miles from St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL), accessible via MetroLink or shuttle
  • Parking, accessible routes, family‑friendly and quiet rooms, childcare, security, and first‑aid services
  • Information booths, coat check, Mamava pods, lost & found, prayer and parents’ rooms

What to Expect at SC25

Conference & Technical Program

Expect a world-class technical program including:

  • HPC Ignites Plenary, panels, invited talks, reproducibility sessions
  • Art of HPC, tutorials, and the ACM SRC/Doctoral Showcase
  • Job Fair, interactive research e-posters, Birds of a Feather meetups

Exhibits & Trade Show Floor

The exhibit hall opens November 18–20, with receptions the evening of Nov 16 (exhibitor welcome) and Nov 17 (gala). Exhibitor move-in occurs Nov 13–16, and teardown completes Nov 20–21.

You’ll encounter companies from hardware vendors to software platforms to research institutions. Special zones include the Quantum Junction (for quantum‑focused vendors) and the Exhibitor Forum for deep-dive technical sessions by exhibitors.

Networking & Community

SC25 is about more than sessions—it’s a place to network, collaborate, and ideate. Use lounges and gathering zones in the Dome and Center for spontaneous meetings. Students, early-career attendees, and veterans mingle via programs like Speed Mentoring and Cluster Competitions. Community initiatives promote inclusivity and belonging across diversity lines.
